A legal disclaimer

When you apply for an opportunity through LinkedIn, we may have access to information contained in your application and CV, including information such as your name, employment history, experience, skills and other information you choose to provide.
We only use information that is relevant and necessary for assessing your suitability for the opportunity.
Where possible, we do not download or retain copies of application documents when this is not necessary. Applications submitted through LinkedIn may remain within LinkedIn’s systems and are subject to LinkedIn’s own privacy arrangements.

3. How we use your information
We use candidate information to:
* assess your suitability for opportunities;

* comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not use candidate information for unrelated marketing purposes.

4. Our lawful basis
We process candidate information where this is necessary for our legitimate interests in carrying out recruitment and candidate-placement services, provided that those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
Where applicable, we may also rely on other lawful bases where required by law or appropriate to the particular processing activity.
We do not generally rely on consent as the lawful basis for ordinary recruitment processing. Where consent is legally required for a particular activity, we will obtain it separately.

5. Sharing your information
Where you are selected to progress with an opportunity, we may share limited information with the relevant client where this is necessary to progress your application or arrange training/onboarding.
We aim to minimise the information we share. For example, where the client can obtain contact information directly from you, we will not routinely provide your personal telephone number or other unnecessary personal information.
We will not sell your personal information.

7. How long we keep your information
We only retain personal information for as long as it is reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
Where you do not proceed with an opportunity, we will normally delete or anonymise any personal information that we have independently retained once it is no longer required.
Where you proceed with an opportunity, we may retain limited information for as long as reasonably necessary to administer the placement, maintain appropriate business records and comply with legal obligations.
